Here comes the Sun!!

Spring is in the air, I can feel it! I love this time of year because it means its time to bring out the color!! Time to get out the short sleeves, and put away the sweaters. Dont get me wrong, I love the fall colors too, but there is just some special feeling that comes from the spring air and the bright sun. A feeling that makes me so happy on the inside and so I love to show it on the outside through color!
This spring try something new..add a new color to your closet. Color is what this season is ALL about. Sometimes people get scared of color because they think they have to go out and spend a lot of money just to make ONE outfit! Thats not the case! There are so many colors that compliment each other. So if you want to add a little color to your closet, find out what colors you have the most of and what colors you can add to bring it all together in an affordable and complimentary way. There are a few different ways you can do that, here are a few options.
  • Obviously our favorite...A NEW PAIR OF SHOES! Shoes can add a lot to an outfit and they can make an old ensemble seem new again, with that fresh pair of new shoes! Try a new type of shoe, for sure one with color! I always get the most compliments from people when I am wearing colored shoes or something with a fun pattern! With our prices, adding a new pair of shoes is an easy thing to do, plus it will add a lot of value to your wardrobe.
  • LAYER! Layering has been in style for awhile and it remains the same. Layering with shirts is flattering and also another great way to spice up your closet and add a little color for not too much out of the pocket!
  • ACCESSORIZE! Add a splash of color with earrings, bracelets, necklaces and hats. These can finalize an outfit, its like the icing on the cake!

Remeber not to think...matchy, matchy, but more on the lines of complimentary! Here are just a few color combinations that look great together to help you get your mind rolling! Bright Yellow goes great with Navy, Green, Pink and Orange. Now lets go with a basic color combination such as navy and white then add a little splash of red and you can see a basic outfit become great! One of my favorite spring colors is Fushia, because its so springy and bright and once again it can be paired with many other fun colors to complete a look. All in all, just remember to play up the color, it is ALWAYS worth it!

With all that said, I hope you enjoy the picture below of a new shoe we just got in. And look, it has color!!!
