Its been awhile!

I know we havent had much new news, so I guess I will make up for it!

First of all we want to welcome Amy as one of our newest franchise owners. We wish you lots and lots of success and we are glad to have you as part of the Sole Desires team!

Second, I am so excited for all of the new shoes that we have been getting in. We have great styles to offer this spring/summer and cant wait to get them all up on the website, but Im sure you will find something you'll love! At least we hope becuase we have an entire wharehouse full of shoes!

Third, If you live locally and have been wanting to get some shoes, we will be at the South Towne Expo Center and the McKay Events Center at the wonderful women shows coming up May 2nd and 3rd. So come stop by and give us a visit!

I wish I had caught more shots of everyone, because looking at these pictures reminds me of how much fun we had that night. I wish Liz and her family could have been there. We had a great time, but I doubt it was as fun as their cruise!

Thanks so much to all of the awesome franchisee's, my family had a great time and I'm so glad that you came, because we just wouldnt have had enough fun without you. I loved the races with the kids, the balancing on the, I dont know what that was called, and I absolutely loved the wiggle cars(they are the franchise favorite, thanks April for starting that)!

Anyways, cant wait for our next big Sole Party!

Group Fun!

Well, one of the best parts of this business is the friendship that we all have together. Every once in a while we like to get everyone together...including our husbands and kids for a night of fun. We had a great time skatin, jumping, eating and mingling. Here are a few of the fun shots we were able to capture.

Fashion News for the Spring!

Well, I must admit I am so excited for the shoes that are coming out this season. I just returned from a big convention where I saw first hand what styles of shoes are going to be hot and whats available. First of all you are going to be seeing a ton, and I mean a TON of color. Spring has always been known for color, but this spring we get sharp, bright colors. You will see a lot of fushia, purple, yellow, orange, green and blues. Not only do we have great colors to look forward to, but also great patterns. I particularly love this, because then the shoes goes with lots of different things!

Another big trend is the gradient colors. You might be asking what is gradient? Gradient is where it starts from light pink and develops into a dark pink, or maybe white turns to grey which turns to black. All of this in one shoe! I love this look and you will be seeing a lot of it. Not only is it available in shoes but also in handbags.

All, I can say is if you love color you will love spring this year. Brown and Black are always great, but this year mix it up with some color. I promise if you do this, you will get more compliments on your shoes than ever before! This is going to be a great season with lots of great styles to choose from, so get in on the fun and add a pop of color to your everyday outfit.

For me personally, I have a hard time not spending money shopping each time a new season arrives, there is just something about feeling new and fresh again! So beware, you might see me the local stores this time of the year. I hope everyone has a great spring and really takes advantage of the spring colors! It will lighten all of those around you! :)

I just wanted to take a moment to say congratulations to Angie and Bianca who have both just recently gotten their businesses up and running, and running is exactly what they are doing with it. I am so glad to have them both as part of the Sole Desires team and I know they will do great! Good luck this upcoming year, I wish you well with your business and with each of your fantastic families! Thanks for making my job so great!

Thoughts for the Sole!

I just wanted to post a great thought on one of my favorite topics....SHOES!

This raises a question and that is...How many of you won't wear high heels because you dont want to be taller than your husband? I know for me I will still wear heels even though at times I am taller than my husband, and that is all because I truly believe that heels make your legs look good and I am all about trying my best to look good! Although, I must admit that lately I have been wearing so many flats and I used to NEVER wear flats. I think it is because there are so many cute flats out there right now, so I figure I might as well take advantage of it while I can!

Another year is Here!

Well, I must say I am excited for the new year. For me the new year always brings on new challenges as well as new accomplishments and I always look forward to that. I love to make plans and look forward to seeing those plans a reality. Does anyone have any great ideas on seeing your goals accomplished? I know for me, I like to have a vision and keep that vision close by and never loose sight of it until it is a reality. I wish everyone a wonderful and accomplished upcoming year!
